Offers a four–month entrepreneurship/vocational skills training (jewelrymaking) for vulnerable young adults and children living in poverty, women,people living in slums, single parents, people living with HIV, people livingwith disabilities, and the unemployed. Caring Hands also serves people ages18–30 who dropped out of school. The training includes business planning,how to start small businesses, savings groups, promoting access to fundingfor small businesses, and acquiring skills through apprenticeship, as wellas start-up kits, education, home visitations, food distribution, medicalassistance, peer support groups, and life skills training. The program alsomonitors the performance of started businesses by beneficiaries and givestechnical support.
